Dear Friends,
We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, December 14th! The party will start at 6:30 pm and the band will start at 7; we will go until at least 10:30 pm. Please feel free to come by at any time. We’ve booked a band; Patti has cooked a ton of food; we’re going to grab a keg of beer or two this week!
If your plans change and you can no longer make it, or if you want to bring one or two extra people, don’t worry about it! We understand that plans can change at the last minute, and there’s no need to give Patti or I a heads up. We love you all, and if we miss you at the party we hope to catch you in the remainder of 2024 or in early 2025.
We would love to see you any way you want to come; don’t hesitate to dress up in festive attire. I will be wearing a evening attire, but everything from jeans and a t-shirt to haute couture is great.
We have a ton of people attending, and the entire house is open to you! We have two porches and will have heaters on the front and back porch. Please feel free to come in and outdoors as you please. The attic and second floor will also be open. The attic is a great place for kids of all ages and adults too.
We’re conveniently located next to the Scarborough train station on the Metro North Hudson line. We have hired a shuttle from Leros Point to Point car service from 6 pm until midnight to go back and forth from the station. If you’re staying up in Westchester, we can chat about other stops. Please note that the train transfers are the priority! The shuttle schedule is below.
If you’re driving, we’re right off Route 9 in Scarborough, Briarcliff Manor. Please enter via Revolutionary Road and exit via Route 9; our driveway cuts through. We have a fair amount of parking at the house both next to the house and garage. Scarborough Presbyterian Church has graciously allowed us to use their parking lot. If you see no spots at our house, please park at Scarborough Presbyterian Church just off of Scarborough Road across Route 9 from us. Feel free to drop people off at the house and then drive the extra minute to the church. You can cross the street at the intersection of Route 9 and Revolutionary Road at the triangle and then walk up the lit path in the front yard. Please do not walk up Route 9 or Revolutionary Road. It’s not safe! If you find that park at the house and block someone in, please leave a note on your dashboard with your name and phone number to allow people to leave! Please do not block the driveway between Revolutionary Road and Route 9.
Please reach out to us via Paperless Post or email if you need our phone numbers.
Love you all and looking forward to seeing you!
Love,
Sam and Patti
